Thanks to all who voted for us. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: what makes this place interesting is all of you. Thanks, as always, for reading, posting, and commenting.

Does anyone have a link to the results? I’m delighted the BMG won, but I would like to know the results of other questions that were asked.

Poll Results.
Congrats.

Interesting survey. Since the they didn’t have a volunteer category I am safe to assume that I would have won. It’s easy to declare yourself the winner of a non-existent category.

Congratulations and well earned!

Steve Grossman winning “Rookie of the Year.”
I like Steve, but come on, he’s like 92.
hlpeary says
Let’s be honest here…our State Treasurer’s PR machine is successfully making their boss over-exposed by spending time voting in every contest/poll they come across and trying to latch on to any story anywhere in the state. Time for a break, I think. They have scraped the bottom going for the “rookie” title when he has been around for decades!
Christopher says
Yes, I think it’s obvious that this is an unscientific, for entertainment purposes only, survey. However, it appears from the others listed in the rookie category that first year in elected office qualifies. By that standard, 2011 IS Steve Grossman’s first year ever as an elected official and as such DOES qualify as a “rookie”.

Just teasing Steve about his age, which is way less than 92. He’s probably only 86.
Christopher says
…Grossman is 65. I figured jimc was being light, but hlpeary came across as a bit bitter.
hlpeary says
I supported him when he ran for Governor! When he really was a rookie!…
Hardly, “bitter”…whatever you think that means.
