it seems self-evident that there are two groups that Elizabeth Warren needs to target in order to win in November.
A) Lunchpail Democrats
B) Independents
Scott Brown won union households in 2010 – that can’t happen again. And it was because he connected with union types with the whole pick-up truck thing. (Like Joan Vennochi wrote about earlier this month.)
So, how does Elizabeth make sure that she’s got the union rank and file behind her?
To me, it seems simple. The protracted Verizon labor contract negotiations are still not over. Verizon is a very wealthy company that just wants to stick it to the union because they can. Why doesn’t Elizabeth Warren embrace their cause and force Scott Brown to choose sides? is he with CWA or the Koch brothers?
Thoughts?
