As no media outlet seems to be following the action other than regularly scheduled news broadcasts, it would be great to hear from BMG bloggers…I am not there today, but am interested in what’s happening…

It appears you can view updates from multiple reporters at Boston.com…in small bites…newsy bits…

Looks like a number of people are tweeting from the convention using the hash tag #Springfield2012 . Don’t know if that’s official/semi-official or if there’s a better tag to follow than
At least the @Massdems state Democratic Twitter account is using the #Springfield2012 hash tag, as are some delegates. Looks to be a good way to follow Convention snippets

Just got this via email… Here’s the video that the Warren campaign is running today.
The embed works in Preview. I hope it still works once I hit Submit.

So much for that. Yo, editors, why doesn’t YouTube embed work (especially since it does so in Preview?).
@devalpatrick: It is time for Democrats to grow a backbone and stand up for what we believe. #springfield2012
@EmergeMass, quoting Gov. Patrick: “no matter who wins, MA will have strong Democratic woman in the Senate. I love that!” – @MassGovernor #Springfield2012 #madem12
From @professorU (Peter Ubertaccio, Stonehill College prof):
Patrick’s speech: a mix of high passion and soft reverence that has crowd in his palm
Patrick: we work for good government because faith in the American Dream still defines what it means to be America. American Dream is worth fighting for because I’ve lived it
Patrick’s speech should be titled “What a Commonwealth Means”

Candidate Warren was never less than gracious than to Marisa De Franco, the other candidates, and their supporters. She will have our unqualified support. Mine, anyway.
And congratulations to Marisa DeFranco and her supporters for keeping a vision alive, one that will outlast the campaign. While we focus on achieving what small good we can in our political lives, we do need to be goaded to remember our highest ideals and ultimate goals. I appreciate that.
Let’s a see a statewide surge in support now and win this damn thing.
It’s always a tough day when a candidate you support doesn’t make it, whether in a primary, the general election or at a convention. Looking forward to a victory for us all in November đŸ™‚

Where is the gracious statement from Marisa DeFranco, and the telephone call to Elizabeth?

Another time, perhaps – we should have a bloggers get-together this summer!
Didn’t even realize, and I didn’t get to see LisaG. She does awesome work.
A Warren shutout in my district 51-0! Incredible.
Conventional wisdom (heh) is that in 2012 Grossman runs for governor, and Murray doesn’t.
I’d like to see him run for the corner office, but there’s scuttlebutt that Steve Grossman is also eying a promotion.
Next time I see you at an MTA thing, I’ll recognize you. I also met Joel Patterson who is another LPAT guy.
Many districts had zero votes fro warren

Has she endorsed Elizabeth?
It’s over. Give it time.
