As you read the letter, below, please note that the ACA law requires a 80/20 ratio. The rebate I received is based on the requirement here in Massachusetts, which is 88/12. This is noteworthy, as detractors will attempt to assert that the ACA limits what the various states can do. Apparently, if a state wants to do better that the standard codified, the state is free to do so.

I use Fallon Community Health Plan which I buy through the state’s Commonwealth Choice (and I am leaving Fallon now that we are in the open enrollment period).
I wonder if everyone using Fallon will get a rebate, or only people using certain plans?

Does anyone know if BCBS will be giving rebates? Since my insurance went up 12.99% again this year (78.11% in the last 3 1/2 years, I’m happy to get anything back.)
