Elizabeth Warren Speaking At Democratic National Convention Before Bill Clinton Address
“I’m honored to speak at the Democratic Convention – to stand with @BarackObama & talk about our shared vision to move the country forward,” Warren wrote on Twitter shortly after the announcement was made.
Warren has warmed up the crowd for a bigger speaker before — she introduced President Barack Obama at a recent fundraiser in Boston.
“Mitt Romney tells us, in his own words, he believes corporations are people,” she said during that speech. “No, Mitt, corporations are NOT people. People have hearts. They have kids. They get jobs. They get sick. They love and they cry and they dance. They live and they die. Learn the difference.”
and…
Elizabeth will be speaking at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night with President Bill Clinton.
She was asked to speak because President Obama knows that Elizabeth is one of the strongest advocates for what’s at stake for the middle class — and our shared vision to move the country forward.

I don’t know enough about the unenrolled voter to wonder if a real Democratic message speech will be too much for some of them.
As has been discussed here before her race is pretty tight and the undecideds are low. I bet they are not the kind to tune into the convention (also that’s a bad week what with all the back to school).
Everyone is saying Obama in 2004 but I think his message of that time has passed and she’s going to be partisan. She’s also not Obama on cross generational & cultural appeal. He really swished the basket on that one.
Regardless glad to see it. I want to see what the media and people have to say about her under the bright lights.
