Since the GOP has so openly, loudly, and brazenly aligned itself with the most extreme, most fundamentalist, and most conservative religious elements in America, isn’t it fair to ask whether the apparent targeting of Tampa during the Republican National Convention is another message from God?
I mean, seriously guys, and I’m not making this up — more than one right-wing Protestant Preacher has interpreted hurricanes as divine speech (is this the next decision after “Citizens United”?).
So how about it? If Hurricane Isaac hits Tampa, will the GOP change its tune? If it misses, will the GOP claim it as divine endorsement?
Inquiring minds want to know!
