The money quote is:
“I will not take God out of our platform,” the Republican nominee said after reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. “I will not take God off our coins, and I will not take God out of my heart.”
In response, Obama spokeswoman Lis Smith called the insinsuation false and an act of desperation.
While I am sure this fake claim will make some people happy, I would like to challenge anyone to find a single reputable source to support this wacked-out “birther-ish” claim. And just in case, by reputable, I mean not Sarah Palin, not Bill O’Reilly, not Steve Doocy, not Michelle Bachmann, not Allen West, not Donald Trump, not Steve King, not Herman Cain. As in, let X be the number of active brain cells in a person. Define reputable as where X > 2.

I was extraordinarily disappointed in his statements last night and today in the wake of the attack on our embassy and the murder of 4 of our foreign service officials. Boehner, McConnell, even Ryan made appropriate statements aimed at helping the nation deal with this tragedy.
