You need to listen carefully because someone at the podium was yelling at the delegates, I hope Charlie had earplugs. Anywho, Sen Durbin was asked why The word “God” was stricken from their platform. Of course, Durbin was unable to defend it, so he lashes out at Fox News and simply could not answer a simple question. God was mentioned in 2008 1X, 7X in 2004 and 4X in 2000.
As a side note, Jerusalem was not mentioned either. Hmmmmmm.

It’s a fair question, why was the platform changed? Any ramifications in Ohio or Virginia or North Carolina where there are lots of Bible folks? Speaking of which, the Platform not only supports Roe v. Wade, but endorses taxpayer-funded abortions. With amjudge making us pay for a sex change for a murderer, mail dropping voter registration forms to those receiving welfare, and now free abortions, it may be hopeless to achieve a balance budget. Hi Greece!
Thank you Scott Brown for slamming the judge who wants me to do with less, and pay for this guys sex change. I hope the Dems joins you, rather than say you are waging a “War on Women” b/c you wont allow this animal (he killed his wife) to become a female on the taxpayers dime. Good grief!

…this is the year you repubs want to get into the weeds of a debate about religion. Putting aside the given that religious beliefs are really nobodies business and we have separation of church and state in the USA (though this has never stopped you guys before)- your candidate belongs to a faith that is a considered a cult by Southern Baptists, who are a key chunk of your base. They seem to have accepted him for now, probably better not to stir things up. Further, your candidate’s coreligionists just can’t stop posthumously baptizing Anne Frank and other holocaust survivors. Speaking of that, we know Romney has participated in this ritual, though we don’t know exactly who he did it to. Hmmmmmmmm
Personally, I’d rather not get into it. Don’t you agree?

Wolf was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on March 8, 1985, to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 3, 1985, and received his commission on April 4, 1985.
David says
Wolf is a Republican all the way. All of his government service occurred under Republican administrations (Nixon, Ford, Reagan), and is a Reagan appointee to the federal bench.

so what are you hoping for? A 10% off coupon, what?
You are congratulation Brown for being useless.

Did they mention Thor?
What about Bob, did they mention Bob?
What about Zeus, did they mention Zeus?
What about the giant heads on Easter Island? Did they mention the giant heads on Easter Island?
What about the supreme Dalek? Did they mention the supreme Dalek? Well if they are not even going to Pander to Doctor Who fans, then I guess I must support treating women like cattle, Gay people like Space Invaders and poor people like criminals. Where do I register to become Republican?

Doctor Who fan perhaps you are?
Sorry: mixing Star Wars’ Yoda speak with DW!
I have often wondered if I wrote posting on how Rethuglicans are like Daleks, if anyone would get the parallels?
kirth says
I think it would be more accurate to compare them to Ferengi.

was Peter Davison and having watched All Creatures Great and Small he was my way into the series. Also, I identified with Adric (Gold Stare in Mathematics) who was a companion for both Tom Baker and Peter Davison and help cause the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Right now, I am obsessed with River Song so Matt Smith is probably my favorite Doctor.
Mr. Lynne says
… to be the one you were first exposed to. Tom Baker for me as well, although technically I got into it just before with John Pertwee.

Wow, amazing ain’t it. Give me at that old time religion, give me that old time religion, it’s good enuff for me.

Can’t wait for the “Godless Ads”. Stupid Idiots.

maybe the BMG crowd in uninterested int hem but I’m sure there are lots of Independents in lots of states that will care and quite frankly, those are the people we want to swing to our side. Don’t get caught up in the Democrats show in Union-hating North Carolina at the Bank of America Center, they are preaching to the choir. Chris Mathews leg shivering won’t add a single Independent vote to Obama’s totals.
Look for the job numbers over the next 60 days, Europe and of course the debates. Look also for the MSM’s attack on the GOP, it’s coming. But I also think we’ll see a huge ad blitz by Romney hitting Obama. Hopefully it works.
Dan, I didn’t watch the speeches last night but did they mention the US just passed $16 TRILLION for our National Debt? Has the CBO stuck their finger in the air to guess what the national debt will be in 10 years according to the Obama budget plan… by $6.7 TRILLION. How the F are we going to pay off that National Debt. Does ANYONE have any ideas besides “inflation”? Does anyone have any ideas on how we will even make annual payments on the almost $20 TRILLION debt?
johnk says
just sayin’….

so it’s common for us to be all over the map. Go along with it…
Ignoring God will not help the Dems at their convention IMHO.

will not help them at Comic Con either!
