After Mr. Romney is done attacking President Obama for not defending American values, I suggest he denounce another group who was consistently undermined key principles of our free society: The Massachusetts Republican Party.
Last spring the MA GOP overturned their own free elections to elect delegates to their national convention and using anti-democratic tactics like loyalty oaths and bureaucratic voodoo, replaced many of these elected delegates with party insiders.
Now, the very week that Romney attacks President Obama’s efforts to de-escalate worldwide tensions caused by the abuse of our First Amendment, Romney’s own state GOP party barred a Boston Globe reporter from attending a public meeting. This is a direct violation of the first amendment.
Can we expect the same kind of denunciation how these anti-democratic tactics by Romney and other conservative? Why is the MA GOP attacking our American Values of a free press and free elections? Why do they hate America?
Many of our fellow bloggers at Redmassgroup have supported Romney’s attacks on the President. Some, including RMG owner Rob Eno, have leadership roles in the MA GOP, serving on the State Committee. Will Rob and others resign from this organization that clearly hates the very values that make this the greatest country in the world?
To maintain their leadership role in this unAmerican group demonstrates that they support these attacks on our values.
For Rob Eno and others in leadership roles of the MA GOP, you are at a crossroads: You either support American values and leave this organization or you do not support our cores values and continue to undermine them with your membership in the MA GOP? Or, to put it in terms you may be more familiar with: Are you with us, or against us?
