Rasmussen Reports, the polling outfit that every lefty loves to hate (and with good reason), has a new MA-Sen poll out. And, although its numbers are less dramatic than those released yesterday by Public Policy Polling, they show the same trend: even in light of President Obama’s poor debate performance last week, Warren is in a better position than she was before. In a poll taken on September 24 (a couple of days after the first senatorial debate), Rasmussen had the race tied at 48-48. Now, in a poll taken on Wednesday (after the presidential debate and after the first two senatorial debates, but before the third), Rasmussen shows Warren up 49-47.
That’s obviously a very close result and well within the margin of error. Still, it’s encouraging that even a GOP-friendly pollster like Rasmussen is showing that Warren is gaining strength even as Obama has faltered a bit in the polls.

One, is that wow, even Ras isn’t a tie, must be pretty meaningful and good news for Warren.
On the other hand, it’s likely also that Ras is moving into SOC mode (“Save Our Credibility”) so they can “come into line” with the final election results and get more credulous morons to pay them for polling next cycle.
