Bless these young people for putting their CORI’s at risk. They were no doubt arrested after the local plice “read them the riot act” created by the Massachusetts Legislature during the Shays’ Rebellion.
Riot Act Passed by the Massachusetts State Legislature in the fall of 1786, the act forbade all gatherings of more than 12 armed persons and empowered sheriffs to kill rioters.
They’ve amended it since.
