The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts endorses Stephen Lynch

March 6, 2013 By danfromwaltham

This 12,000 member strong union has thrown its muscle behind a good man, Stephen Lynch.  In their endorsement, the PFFM cite the simple facts that Mr. Lynch has not forgotten where he came from, has continuously worked to improve the lives of “working people” across the country, and ensuring skilled laborers receive a decent wage (and keep their jobs from trade agreements).

This must touch the heart of Stephen Lynch because IMO, fire fighters are the most pro-life individuals walking the earth.  Think about it, fire fighters are willing to risk their lives, in order to save a strangers life.  Professions that asks their workers to make such a sacrifice are few and far between.

Somerville Fire Local 76 also endorsed Stephen Lynch, calling him a “true working hero”.  Wrong Somerville Fire, you folks are the heroes.  Thanks for all you do.

As I said I would I have recommended this post from Dan because he finally managed to write a pro-Lynch diary without bashing Markey or taunting his supporters. Yes, there is still the trade agreement reference which is a legitimate difference, though I would remind Dan that firefighting jobs can’t be outsourced.
