Last Night, I heard a recording of Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy talking at the JFK Library Forum about Whitey Bulger on the WBUR program “Boston University’s World of Ideas”. I listened to it specifically because I had never heard of Kevin Cullen before he was trashed repeatedly here at BMG. IMHO I found the discussion both entertaining and informative and while I have been guilty of Feeding Trolls in the past, I am curious to see what showing any sympathy towards the target of repeatedly baseless Troll attacks will bring.

What can u base that on?
Much of what is in their book is disputed by Matt Connolly book and blog. As you know Matt was high level career prosecutor who chased Whitey and other years and years. He has disputed many of the facts in Cullen’s book and does with documents and other annotations.
The feds used Cullen and Murphy for years just as they used the Feds. A marriage made in hell. Over the next few months it should blow up in all their faces.
Til then they better sell as many books as they can.

Finally,
I know that you know whatever it was that Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy said about their book on WBUR.
Based on the writings and documents provided by aAttorney Matthew Connolly I know that Cullen and Murphy’s book contains many half-truths and untruths.
Informative is not the same as an entertaining yarn. The Wizard of Oz is entertaining but because it is based fantasy it would be hard pressed to say it is informative.
Same for a fictitious story is not based on fact.
Question Mike. For the sake of argument. If you were to learn that everything Cullen and Murphy said on the radio show was false would you still describe the show as informative?
Really mike, try and wrap your head around these very simple concepts. That will save you from getting your panties in a bunch all the time and hopefully add a few years to your life.
