Talk about a dose of reality, no? Billboards like this are up in Colorado, have any of you seen this in the news? When I first saw this and verified it was real, I checked my temporary sign-on and it was still active, so I wanted to share this with my peeps on BMG. For the first time, I went on to learn how the U.S. Cavalry, first disarmed the Lakota Native Americans at Wounded Knee, and then massacred 300 unarmed men, women, and even children. Man’s inhumanity to man, that is for sure. As a kid, I recall reading about Little Big Horn and admiring how Sitting Bull defeated Gen. Custer. But this billboard really hit home with me. We really need to carefully and methodically consider, with a skeptical eye, any type of further gun restrictions that are being proposed, that would prohibit law-abiding U.S. citizens from having a weapon they believe is necessary for self defense/protection. I am not saying no new legislation, just not ram through anything with a nice title on the bill. As you know, Waltham residents were told to stay inside, during the terrorist manhunt. All I will say is I felt at ease, knowing I had more than anthracite coal rocks, to protect the family, if the terrorist had wormed his way through the police perimeter, and infiltrated my neck of the woods.
Yes, I watched both Gomez and Markey’s victory speeches Tue night as I drank my American-made Schlitz beer. I was one of the 1,499 Lynch voters in Waltham, and proud of it. Gomez mentioned my favorite movie, Rocky, and Markey wants to go to war with the NRA (why I am writing this post). 46 years of real world experience for Gomez VS. 37 years of D.C. experience for Markey. Markey links Gomez to Mitch McConnell and Pat Robertson, Gomez said Markey is the poster boy for term limits. Slight advantage to Gomez Tue night. Markey yelled too much, looked like a Republican (old white guy) while Gabriel started off his victory with something like “Me llamo es Gabriel Gomez”. In the end, I hope the Republicans don’t turn the tables, and say any criticism of Gomez is a “dog whistle” like some here did, when I criticized Obama last summer. I will never do that, trust me.
If it is OK with you folks, if I end up supporting Gomez, would you be comfortable if I ask questions, post comments and/or give an alternative viewpoint?
Lastly, thanks to those who mentioned me, and kept mentioning me, since I was gone. I know, I know, you can’t quit me. You guys and gals are fun too. Do you think EB3 is a real person? Remember Duane Ingalls Glasscock? He was Charles Laquidara’s alter ego way back in the WBCN days. EB3 is someone’s alter ego, IMO. Nobody can be as crazy as EB3 and last for such a long time.

Is there a back story to why you post these random recipes?

that this is a way to combat Trolling. Since the original post is clearly not meant for any target audience that would visit this site and is only meant to drive normally reasonable people insane, it is as relevant to the discussion as trying to discuss why Gun Safety legislation is not an attempt to put all Americans on a Reservation or other “Aluminum Foil Hat” Crack-Pot Postings.

When you ask:
I’m happy to answer: NO, IT IS NOT OK WITH ME. You are nothing but a troll, and your trollish commentary is most definitely not welcome, at least to my eyes. Expect to see nothing but replies of “DFTT” from me.
To everyonr rldr: DFTT!

Your pathetic DINO savior got crushed, please do the same for Gomez. Please make me loath Gomez as much as I loath Lynch!
Troll Dung, nothing but Troll Dung.
P.S. As a former Marine (many years before “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, not only do I not have a problem with responsible gun safety legislation, but I also do not have a problem with having a gun registry. Show me where in the constitution it prohibits a DMV for guns? Bueller? Bueller?

Show me where in the constitution it prohibits a DMV for guns? Where? Whet, you have no answer. Because it doesn’t! It doesn’t!

When I first made it, I couldn’t remember ever cooking with fresh marjoram, but it works quite well in this preparation. Marjoram is closely related to oregano but it is more mild.

Registration of guns leads to a list and then to a potential gun confiscation, if lawmakers choose to ban certain firearms. Even Sen. Feinstein talks about “more to come” with future gun laws. All I am saying is look to the past, so we don’t repeat the same mistakes.
Hey, thanks 4 your service, we all are in debt to you and those that wore the uniform. Interested in your experience as a marine, did you see the world? When did u serve? I knew an army guy eh served under Carter and Reagan. He said under Carter, budgets were tight, used just a few bullets for target practice. Under Reagan, more bullets than they knew what to do with, overseas, would eat lobster, etc, with the higher ups. Not sure if just a story but I believed him.

and you have to rely on the paranoid delusions of a bunch of John Birch type wack-jobs to support your position. I guess there should be no fluoride in Water either, no vaccinations for children before entering grammar school? No ATM cards?
P.S. I served from Dec 78 to Dec 82 so also, 24 months under Carter and 24 months under Reagan. The Iranian revolution happened while I was in MOS school. I never was deployed into battle, the closest was while on a NATO exercise on our way to Norway, everything in Poland exploded, and for a short time, we didn’t know where in Europe we were going to land. I was out but still in a position to be recalled when the embassy in Lebanon was attacked and the whole Granada thing happened.

If being on a government list automatically leads to repression then I guess we should all refuse to identify ourselves for the census? Right?
I see absolutely no reason why the government should not keep track of who has any thing that might present a harm to other citizens, including guns, ammo, explosive materials, toxic chemicals, nuclear waste, dangerous animals, or whatever.
Yes, I am sure there are plenty gun owners with paranoid fears of the government, but I don’t see why we have to pay any more attention to that than fears that the UN is going to invade Texas or that the Boston Marathon bombing was actually a government black-op.

…that Gomez is more likely than Markey to vote for those trade agreements without caveats that you didn’t like, right? Nobody is talking about a full disarmament like we did with the Native population. We did a lot of things to them of which we shouldn’t be proud and certainly violated their constitutional rights. We are looking at a ban on high-capacity magazines and assault weapons, along with background checks. Are you in the 10% of the country that opposes these things? There is currently proposed no registry though registering vehicles doesn’t lead to the confiscation thereof so I don’t see the problem. As to your question about it being OK to post I’ll give you a little more rope than johnt001 seems willing to, but only a little, maybe just enough to hang yourself:)
