Swept the Pens like it was nobody’s business. As my brother posted on his Facebook, ‘Timmy who? Rask will bask in all glory’. Time to rest for the boys in black and gold, we will see if they play the reigning Kings or the champs of old.

What a defensive performance, especially by Tuukka Rask. 0.44 GA vs what was supposed to be the best offense in the league.
So glad Jarome Iginla lost. That guy snubbed the B’s and went to Pitt, b/c he thought they had the best chance to win the Stanley Cup. F Iginla. Then we have Matt Cooke ending Savard’s career in 2010 on a head-hunting cheap shot in 2010. And Crybaby Sidney Crosby always looking for a penalty.
I wouldn’t say Timmy who? Thomas won The Cup two years ago, played like Ken Dryden of the 70’s. But Rask has been awesome recently, no doubt about it.
Gomez is already struggling to get attention in a sleepily special election, now his campaign has to fight even harder for press attention while the state is gripped with Bruins fever. Oh well.
I’m not much on predictions, but I’m fairly confident that Chicago will eliminate LA tonight. B’s / Hawks would be a great matchup.
I am confident it will be a great series and won the B’s will have a tough but probable road to victory. I am hopeful my future marriage and Chicago friendships could survive a Bs win too.
It took more than an overtime and a half, but Patrick Kane put the final dagger into the LA Kings.
would at least make Chicago fly back to California and play another game. But bring on the ‘Hawks!
I had to go to Wikipedia to verify the claim I heard that these two teams never met in a final during all of those Original Six years. Hawks have never played the Rangers in a final, either.
