Forty Four Years Ago This Week, the human race stopped briefly and watched the crew of Apollo 11 start their historic trip to the moon.
1) 44 Years Ago Today, on July 16, 1969, the Saturn V rocket blasted off from Cape Kennedy, Florida to start the flight to the moon to fulfill the challenge that President Kennedy had set earlier in 1961.

Happy Anniversary Everyone!
