That’s right – earlier today, we exceeded 5,000 followers on our Twitter feed. (The current count: 5,002.)
If you use Twitter but aren’t following us, you are missing out! I post most front-page BMG posts to Twitter, but that’s just the beginning. All three of your humble editors resort to Twitter to call attention to stuff that, in our estimation, needs attention called to it, but also doesn’t seem to need more than 140 characters. Beyond that, Charley is a veritable Twitter machine, cranking out tweets by the dozen in mere seconds on some occasions, and Bob and I hold our own as well. It’s also great for the occasional special project, such as the day I live-tweeted my experience at jury duty.
Twitter is fun, and I find it quite useful as a news feed. If you’re there already, follow us. If not, you should join and see what you think.
