Senator Warren talking reality again!

It seems rare these days for our elected officials to thank or even acknowledge the unions. Of course, they count on the votes, but then ignore the mission or forget the promise. A huge THANK YOU to Elizabeth Warren for her willingness to put her face to the promise, even though it’s not popular among the Wall Street Corporatists or the generally uninformed.
Elizabeth Warren! Keep it coming woman! Reality is more appealing than triangulation.

        “I think President Obama is right to seek Congressional approval before taking any military action, and we should engage in a serious debate to determine the appropriate U.S. response to the situation in Syria,” Warren said in a statement. “The Assad regime’s actions are reprehensible, but it is critical that we recognize the complexity of the conflict on the ground and that we consider the potential for unintended consequences of U.S. intervention, no matter how good our intentions.”

        • She and Markey both offered effusive praise for his Constitutional decision which shouldn’t be viewed as anything other than ordinary, it’s like a cop pulling you over and praising you for not speeding. And the fact that she and Markey released joint statements praising the President, and he is clearly in favor of the strikes, is giving me pause. That said, I sincerely hope I am wrong and I will be letting the Senator know I want her to oppose this intervention.
