Tonight (Friday), there will be a Lunar Eclipse. For viewers in Massachusetts, the eclipse will begin before the Moon Rises, but should be visible for most of the Eclipse. The best way to see it is:
1) Wait until dusk.
2) Go outside.
3) Look up.
Unlike a solar eclipse, no special equipment is needed to protect your eyes.

These seem to come somewhat regularly and of course don’t have the dramatic effect of a total solar eclipse. Anyone know when we will see one of those around here?

But you have to be in the Atlantic Ocean or Africa to see it. The following link shows upcoming eclipses:

There are no Solar Exclipses visible in the Massachusetts area for decades.
