Boston GOP Chairman Brad Williams Endorses John Connolly. This from the RMG post:

Many Republicans have been a big part of his fundraising team and donor base, Both of his parents had close connection to the Weld and Cellucci administrations. Our statewide candidates may have an easier go of it in Boston with John Connolly as mayor.

Talk about third party endorsements!!!! Marty Walsh recently got Mel King’s endorsement. And John Connolly got the party of Mitt Romney and Charlie Baker who see him as a ticket to 2014 victories if he is Mayor.

    • Crazy cat lady with hat doesn’t have 65,000 friends and an email network. The reality is the Republican Party is backing John Connolly with money and GOTV.

      Me – I’ll be volunteering all day for the progressive Democrat in the race. And I didn’t have to hide my support until the last minute.

    • Across the city who say negative things about Marty Walsh, it seems perfectly fair to me that the Boston chair of the Republican Party’s support is enthusiastically going to John Connolly.

      Connolly’s earned it.

  4. Over on the twitter, Walsh is getting hate from
    –Will Ritter, a veteran of Romney/Ryan, Brown, Gomez, as well as Jim Rappaport, Chris Egan, Pioneer, etc.

    I think I’ll go with Elizabeth Warren, Felix Arroyo, CGR, John Barros, Liz Malia, Linda Dorcena Forry, et al., instead.
