Just alerted to this RMG post from a FB friend:
A Pledge: This Website will FOIA Deval Patrick’s New State Climatologist’s Records Every Week
Yesterday, Deval Patrick stated that he is appointing at $100,000 a year a state climatologist to help the state plan for the alleged threat of climate change.
…
If this hire goes through, Red Mass Group is prepared to public records request, every Monday Morning at 8 am the previous seven days of correspondence this person receives, and creates. The correspondence requested will be both paper based and electronic. This is a complete waste of money and needs to be exposed.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Please share widely!
…will be more than happy to have his communications public since public awareness is key on this issue. Of course RMG just big time tipped their hand and basically warned this person not to put in writing what (s)he doesn’t have to. As for a waste of money – whose money is going to be wasted complying with these dilatory requests?
and warned everyone not to put in writing anything.
as proof that coal is the super bestest energy source?

From a guy who likely never encountered either…
See his “contribution” to this thread below.
Talk about a bloated government. But it’s true, Deval really proposed this, along with $40 million for cities and towns to prepare for rising oceans.
““Global warming, climate change, all these things are just a dream come true for politicians. The opportunities for taxation, for policies, for control, for crony capitalism are just immense, you can see their eyes bulge.”
Thank you Prof. Lindzen.

Whenever I see Prof Lindzen in a climate change article I can’t help but think of the youtube clip below (also pasted as image so you don’t need to view video).
When nearly all his peers trust the science behind climate change, here is the professor:
