That suggests to me he’s not running.
Patrick says
This which indicates he needs to decide soon:

This says he will have a primary challenge and he’s also not talking to people he would be expected to talk to.

But then again, he will be at this which would be an odd thing to go to immediately before deciding not to run:

All together, I’m putting my money down on Scott not running.

Less taunting from DFW

Please, I had blissfully forgotten his existence…

…as proof that he’s not running. If I understand it correctly, the contract will automatically terminate if he announces a candidacy for any office, so that’s not an impediment to running.

Wrote that in a comment last Oct. 28th and still believe it. The Fox contract renewal feels like another nail in the Brown 2014 concept. He can’t afford to lose another election and still be a real candidate for President in 2016.

I feel bad giving any attention to this person, who has long since crossed over into Kardashian territory. But since I haven’t seen this theory mentioned anywhere, I’ll throw it out here–he’s being positioned by the GOP to get into the clown car otherwise known as the 2016 presidential primary. They need someone to run to the left of Mitt 2.0, whoever the GOP establishment choice for 2016 may be, to make that person look more tolerable to the Republican base. It doesn’t matter (in fact it helps) that Brown’s qualifications to be POTUS are nonexistent.
Mark L. Bail says
running for President, like Scott Brown, just for the money and the attention.
As a thin-skinned, cardboard cutout, he’s made a life for himself by being good-looking, athletic, and superficially likable. He couldn’t stand the heat or criticism of a real campaign at the national level. His antics at King Philip Regional High School would be worth a news cycle and be enough to tag him as a complete joke.

“I can see Scott Brown running for President, like Scott Brown, just for the money and attention.”
I get them confused a lot too.

Palin, though there is something poetic and unintentionally funny about the way I said it.
