It appears that this story about the Kock Brothers was the inspiration for a truly inspired skit on the Colbert Report starring Patrick Stewart as Chuck Duprey, “an average American Joe, who prefers to crack open a domestic beer and watch the NASCARS.”
Sir Patrick, along with his son and his son’s understudy, talked about how Obamacare was destroying his life. It is well worth the few minutes it takes to watch the clip, if only to put the efforts of Dan from Waltham into perspective.
