I sure they were. The Hate Group NOM had even lined up the Archbishop of San Francisco to speak at their little hate rally.
I realize this is a busy news day, but still, I have not seen or heard or read so much as a tweet from the religion fueled hatred attempting to march on the capital of the country and demand their religious dogma somehow be installed as the law for the entire country. The christian caliphate.
I guess even the Hate Group NOW knows when it has been upstaged by extreme religious fervor!

I’m not sure I want to read all that about their sad, little shrinking movement, but there you are.

The Presbyterian Church of the USA (PCUSA) became the latest, and to date, largest denomination to endorse same sex marriage rite within their church and with relatively strong language. A friend from U Chicago was there for the vote!
I also have a few Methodist connections vis a vis my finance, future in laws, and a good friend who is a minister in Kansas-and it seems likely they will take the plunge but probably on a conference by conference basis.
The Episcopal Church has a blessing rite, but it falls short of marriage, though it seems they may revise the prayer book to have more inclusive language for the rite in the future-removing some archaic portions about wives serving husbands as well as making it gender adaptable.
In any case, it is important to note wide acceptance across the board for this change inside and outside of mainstream religious groups.
