…so I believe it applies to both Virginias and both Carolinas.
covers Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia. Maryland, of course, passed an equal marriage statute.
Although the precedent applies throughout the circuit, I’m sure all the other states will decline to abide by it until such time as judgments issue specifically enjoining them from denying a license to same-sex couples.
but SC is. Haven’t heard yet from WV.
