Colorado’s Supreme Court order a halt to Marriage Equality in Boulder County Colorado today.
My sympathy to the residents of Colorado. Hopefully, this will only be an injustice for a short time period.

So you have all the rights and everything you are entitled to as a married couple, but per our constitution you can’t be married.
How many hours were wasting and taxpayer dollars spent to codify into law what is essentially a victory of semantics for the anti-marriage crowd?
the semantics are all that matter. They just can’t abide the word “marriage,” but are fine with couples having all the rights and everything.
even on this blog, it used to be that whenever the topic of marriage equality came up, you would get a comment from someone whining, “Why do you have to call it marriage” and why can’t you call it something else, like “splong” to use a Monty Python word.
