How did it come to this? How did two really smart contenders for attorney general, two people who have already served the public and seem committed to the notion of public service, get caught up in a meaningless war of words?
Well, a single digit spread and two weeks to a primary election might be the answer. But those who are evaluating leadership as it looks like that is what it’s coming down to think about Patrick and Muffy and how others handled themselves in difficult situations.
