If someone can be trusted enough to drive a two ton car on a road, they can be trusted enough to be one of the 100+ million of us who vote in big elections.

Otherwise they are easy pickings for elected officials. It seems like everytime a teenage driver has an accident there is a scramble to tighten driving laws for that age group, yet it doesn’t happen for the elderly when one of that generation gets into an accident. Why do you suppose that is?

The vote in Scotland matters. It’s clear and direct, and a question some people have been wanting for centuries.

On November 4th, we will have a choice between two parties who believe essentially the same thing on finance, capitalism, education, health care, and the freedom of religion. If we had socialists and Front National-style rightists openly on their own rather than on the outside of the spectrum or neutralized by the moneyed moderate, we might have turnout the same.
