If you ever got out to these things you’d know in MA the local chambers are 50%+ Democrats.
Ma grew up near the Heights and I had a blast canvassing there with a good group of Cambridge and Arlington Dems for Deval back in 2005, including Marc McGovern. It was a mildly hot August day, but people were friendly and receptive and very excited to hear from us. Starting that early and making face to face contact was crucial to Patrick’s victory, and it taught me how to do that in my own neighborhood next summer. Good luck and have fun!
