Tonight, Congresswoman Katherine Clark was presented with the 2015 Eleanor Roosevelt Award given by the Democratic State Committee at the Boston Parker House. She was congratulated by her long time friend and Campaign Chairman Fred Rich LaRiccia.

Clark has become my favorite member of the delegation, like Sen. Warren she sticks to her principles while also moving forward pragmatically to advance legislation despite being in the minority. Proud she has already ascended to House leadership posts too.
Fred is a long time advocate for gay rights and progressive politics, doing so from his perch in a somewhat conservative town. Also has been a friendly neighbor to my folks and a great contact to have as I try and make my way back home to work in government. And proud to have gotten to know both Fred and Anthony on his campaign.
