Exciting news. Massachusetts residents can now register to vote online or on paper. This is an important step in increasing access to Democracy.
Use this online system to:
– apply to register to vote in Massachusetts
– change your name or address for voter registration purposes
– enroll in a political party, change your party enrollment, or unenroll from a party
WBUR has the story.
Now when you meet someone who isn’t registered, you can walk them through it right then and there on a smart phone!
I checked it out, but since I am already registered I didn’t actually complete a transaction. I don’t want to change my party. I did change my name that I was registered under back in 2011. I decided to be KATE when I ran for DSC. Oddly enough, it just felt wrong to me to have my registered name be a nickname. I wasn’t expecting that. I changed it back once the election was over.
OK BMGers, someone give it a try. Let us know how it goes. Change your party to Democrat, register where you live, or even change your name. You can also check out your voter registration information. онлайн займ 100000
