He criticized those who are maintaining that the pope was somehow underhanded or secretive about meeting with Kim Davis. What actually appears to have happened is that the Papal Nuncio (ambassador) may have sprung Davis on the pope. Not nice. I wonder if the Papal Nuncio will soon find himself in Malta? Elba maybe? Baffin Island?
