for his Benghazi email gaffe that exposed congressional Republican corruption and hypocrisy.
I think President Clinton should appoint the inept, word salad next House Speaker McCarthy Ambassador to Hungria ! 🙂

We did not need Kevin McCarthy’s remark to demonstrate the ugliness of partisan politics. It would be a mistake, however, to gloat over the Speaker-in-waiting’s nasty revelation. Most voters do not pick a dog in this fight(only political junkies). They are more interested in hearing from a candidate’s campaign: What’s in it for me, and what have you done about it before? This still represents a bump in the road for Secretary Clinton plus the other more public slip showing that will come up over her misjudgment of her server use. She already has stated her thinking was not very clear there. It would be foolhardy to depend on opposition gaffes alone to advance a campaign. I know she is trying to overcome this, but so far she is using other elected Democrats loyal bases to support her. She has not caught the enthusiasm of those who are not as politically oriented. Her name recognition is also becoming a fading asset as other candidates are becoming better known, and have more effective messaging.
It’s still early so we’ll have to see if this “gaffe” helps her or not. So far it is not reflected in any polls. Time will tell.
