How much more damage does the Congress have to do to our country before Democrats realize that we need to get over our obsession with holding the presidency? If just 5% as many volunteers would volunteer to go to swing districts in an off year election as volunteer in a presidential year, we could take back the house of representatives regardless of the gerrymandering.

…then mission accomplished. If this were a progressive blog in another part of the country you would probably hear more about activism on the Congressional level. Even in all of New England I think you can count GOP Reps. and Senators on the fingers of one hand. That said, some of us are close to NH where we could stand to turn one seat in each chamber blue.
