…he has beaten out Ted Cruz for the prize of Sarah Palin’s endorsement. As one comment put it, “The politician turned reality TV star was endorsed the reality TV star turned politician.
In other Trump news, a committee of the House of Commons yesterday debated a resolution to ban him from the UK. They apparently have a policy to bring up any item that garners at least 100K signatures from British constituents and this one more than cleared 500K. I saw a bit on C-SPAN and while every MP who spoke was outraged at Trump’s remarks about certain demographics, many calling him some rather blunt names, there did seem to be a split on the propriety of banning him. Not since the Intolerable Acts I think has parliamentary action gotten so much play on this side of the “pond”.
I am dying to see how this effects polling. It will certainly help him in Iowa, but I wonder if this might finally hurt him in other primary states. Supposedly he has the lead with self described moderates in NH, because of his unorthodox issues portfolio. They strongly dislike Palin though. The only sure thing this cycle has been that nothing is sure.
LOL have you been paying attention?
The Don has called POWs losers, he made fun of a woman in a wheelchair, and turned making fun of Rosie O’Donnell into an art form … And he still leads the field. Shoot man – YOU have a better chance of moving out of your parents basement, than The Don has of losing ground in other states because of a Palin endorsement.
The question is, which establishment alternative will they coalesce around? And will they do it in time?
“You’re fired” endorsed by “I quit”!
