The Saloon
Get an early start on summer. Come, enjoy some libations, and talk politics. This is the last Stammtisch of the 2016 primary season, for better or worse.
Our now-regular monthly BMG Stammtisch will happen tonight — 1-June — at The Saloon in Davis Square at 7p.
Hope to see you there!
Please share widely!

Good food, drink, company! Plus the chance to hash out our differences in person. I’ve been to several and they are fun.
We’re having a talk in my town by someone from the Islamic Center of Boston & Wayland tonight. I regularly read posts from international Muslim activists on my Twitter feed and I’m interested to hear what’s going on in Massachusetts. Plus I hope we get a good showing for this event from the local DTC.

I’ve missed the last two after meeting you at the first one.
I’ll be bringing my good friend and candidate for 9th Essex District (Lynn, Saugus ,Wakefield) State Representative, Jen Migliore, who has wanted to join us since we started.
We’re both looking forward to seeing all our BMG friends !

This was the first stammtisch I was free — but I was exhausted and went to bed early.
Maybe next month. No summer vacation on the stammtisch!

…since I don’t have my usual first Wednesday commitment.

The next is scheduled for July 6th.

We’ve been at this thing for a good decade or so, we can have the first drink to the ‘real’ queen but my second one will be to the king over the water 😉

Yesterdays news meant substantial ‘overtime’ at my office. And the week of July 4th is probably the next time I’ll be able to see my wife in person, so can’t miss that 🙂
These are great events though, and I am open to doing them at different locations. Can’t wait until Notch Brewery opens in Salem.

I’m so glad I went! I’d like to host one of these at Battle Road Brewing Company, when they open in Maynard this summer! They’re planning to have an outdoor beer garden overlooking the mill pond, and I’m sure the food will be excellent (the owner also owns 29 Sudbury)!

It’s good! Maynard like Salem is an up and coming place that has a lot going for it, though our transit system is definitely better 😉
You aren’t the school committee member who was boosting your town in the Globe a few months by any chance? Either way-happy to visit. Should have a car by then!

I’m so glad I went! It was a fun filled break from canvassing. Great to catch up with fellow Blue Mass Group members 🙂
