It’s official: President Obama today endorsed Hillary Clinton. Here’s the video:
Also, as mike_cote has already noted, Elizabeth Warren is expected to endorse Clinton tonight on Rachel Maddow (9 pm, MSNBC). If you’d like a taste of the worst of the internet, check out her Facebook page, which is now overrun with people who are, shall we say, not pleased with her for doing so.

1 plus 1 equals 2, 2 plus 2 equals 4. Hillary is the presumptive nominee. I am getting really tired of pretending that this isn’t over. It is over.

She endorsed Hillary because she is a political survivor(“a fighter”). However Bernie was given credit for having the right values on the economy, political reform, and social issues. She also praised Bernie for bringing bold changes into the political arena. Her other main thrust was to keep Trump “nowhere near the WH”. It seemed more to be an endorsement of both, and that Bernie should have some prominent role in the new Congress.
It gave the outline on her vision of what Democratic unity would look like. I’m a alternate delegate to the Convention, and it looks like it will be a pretty exciting place, both inside and outside the arena.
I’ve started a blog, trying to enter some thoughts a couple of times a week ante Convention, and the will switch to daily once I’m there. oetkb.wordpress.com .

Sanders is the ranking Democratic appointee on the Senate Budget Committee. He is supremely well situated to become the Chair if he helps the Dems retake the Senate.
