in the Ninth Essex District ( Saugus, Wakefield, Lynn ) Democratic primary race for state representative. She won 13 of 14 precincts and every town in the district including her opponents’ hometown of Wakefield.
Jen campaigned as a proud progressive championing stronger public schools, rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure, protecting our environment and the millionaires tax to finance all these working family priorities.
Team Migliore knocked on over 7,000 doors and ran on the issues that voters in the Ninth care about most. We have challenged the Republican incumbent, Donald Wong, to five debates on the issues.

Jen was endorsed by the UIP and ran a great race. She also is a mentor and inspiration to Judy Du, one of our best interns who worked on our write in campaigns as well as Jen’s. My parents are looking forward to continuing their support for November. Great work Fred, POWER is starting to show the fruits of all your hard work to reorganize the grassroots progressive community in Wakefield. I am looking forward to seeing it succeed in the future.
