Deia Schlosberg won an Academy award for her work as a film maker. That doesn’t count in North Dakota where her equipment was confiscated and she was arrested.
Amy Goodman was also charged, and plans to turn herself in and fight those charges tomorrow, 10/17/16.

…but it did not say what the conspiracy was and I agree this seems like an open and shut first amendment case. It would seem 45 years is in violent crime territory anyway.
Reminiscent of the ban on environmental science in Wyoming or the federal ban on gun violence research. If the facts get in the way of their agenda, reactionaries get in the way of the facts.
And now I suppose that this local prosecutor will learn about the “Streisand Effect.”
