American Hero Navy Seal/Admiral who led the raid on Osama bin Laden absolutely believes Comey over Trump. Do I expect very many of these 35% of people who believe everything Trump says to care? Absolutely not. But I think this says a lot.

I don’t know. To me it says the guy who led the bin Laden raid happens to be a rational human being. I’ll take all of those I can get, of course, but I don’t see in this context how his heroism really relates to this matter.
I think Trump will drop at least another ten percent.

No. He’ll be part of the accumulation of negative feelings toward Trump, but his opinion won’t be talked about for more than a day or so.
In the pre-Trump days, a story like that could get some air time. But we’re beyond the point where a single opinion means much. It’s like someone shooting a handgun at airplanes during a firebombing.
For better or worse, we’re living in a time when a presidential candidate can brag about sexually assaulting women on tape, pay fines for money laundering, carry on a love affair with Russian oligarchs and mobsters, lie about a former president wiretapping him, and then firing the FBI Director leading the investigation into his campaign.
Some fairly anonymous guy who carried out a mission that received little attention vouching for Comey isn’t going to carry much weight.
