Everyone in the Massachusetts State Police hierarchy who was involved in altering an arrest report of a judge’s daughter has retired. But you know who hasn’t? The people who let this corrupt culture exist among the State Police. Public Safety and Security Secretary Bennett and Governor Baker.
This arrest report is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s exceptionally unlikely that they just decided to alter this one report. It reminds me of a class I took one time on detecting financial fraud: no one gets caught the first time the embezzle. They do it again and again. When you see the $1000 they stole this week, you have to look for the $1,000,000 they stole over the years. So chances are the MSP have been faking reports for years.
Which means one of two things: either Baker has knowingly allowed this culture of corruption to flourish, or his management has been so ham-handed he couldn’t see it happening right under his nose. Either way he doesn’t belong in the corner office.
Let’s have a special prosecutor, and let’s find out which it is.

Healey should also resign. She set the tone for state misconduct with her cover up of the Sonja Farak scandal. See Tom Jackman’s article in the Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/true-crime/wp/2017/10/04/prosecutors-slammed-for-lack-of-moral-compass-withholding-evidence-in-widening-mass-drug-lab-scandal/?utm_term=.5c630109adec
Jackman’s article is well documented and credible. Healey is stonewalling while hundreds, maybe thousands, of people are in jail unjustly because of bad evidence..
