  1. I suppose most people who read the site know this: Kate Donaghue is perhaps the pre-eminent Dem party activist in the state; and in a way one of the most influential people in the state’s politics. That this horrific scourge has struck home is just heartbreaking.

  3. Kate: your statement in the Westborough Patch was moving. I hope many people read it. It’s paradoxical, but often true, that deaths and funerals — those most upsetting and sad occasions — are often also occasions of real eloquence and humanity.

    Why? Because she called me to help me with my campaign for state representative. From Jay Gonzalez’s office. Where she was organizing a high performance team to do whatever it is that Kate says.
