Are we so addicted to making fun of his discussions of buying Greenland, racial insults, and displayed ignorance on his sleeve that we cannot focus?
We have to stop responding to every moronic tweet meant to distract us.
Two things matter:
IMPEACHMENT for corruption and collusion with an enemy;
and
ELECTING a Democratic Senate.
The rest is us playing fetch with his tosses letting him be our media producer.
ONLY an impeachment investigation (even without a trial),
AND a Democratic Senate will…
-save the immigrants in the camps
-restore voting rights
-restore a multi-racial democracy
-restore respect for women’s autonomy
-restore our environment
-ban weapons of war from our streets
-protect vulnerable minorities
-build an economy that works for the 99%
We cannot achieve those goals playing on his Alice in Wonderland turf.
When we are talking about other things -no matter how enraging or meritorious – we are losing and he is winning.
Let’s stop fetching the ball for him when he throws it and yells, “Fetch!”

And it is for this reason I am praising John Hickenlooper for running for Senate. We have a lot of great leaders who don’t need to squeeze past one another to try to be the nominee-not when so many winnable Senate races are begging for them to run. Hoping Beto and Bullock see the light too.
Dems can pick up two Senate seats in Georgia. Incumbent Purdue is up next year and Isakson just announced he will retire this year for health reasons.
