Follow people like former ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul to understand how Russia has not only physically invaded Ukraine and annexed territory, but has also been engaged in a full-out corruption, misinformation propaganda, and institutional undermining war against Ukraine for years. The people Giuliani cites are uniformly on the wrong side of that war. They are on the side of corruption and Russian power, and against democracy and good government.

I think Donald Trump is in deep with Russian organized crime and has been for years or decades. So I think the answer for Donald Trump is that Donald Trump approves of the Russian annexation of parts of Ukraine because Vladimir Putin desires that.
