He first and foremost, acknowledged other people and their contributions to his effort. He credited Amy Klobuchar for his victory tonight in Minnesota, for example.
He also specifically chose, at this moment of triumph, to show respect to workers, singling out sanitation workers by recognizing their vital role in our society and the dignity of their work.
THAT’S refreshing.
THAT is why he will reveal the smallness of Donald Trump when he stands next to him.
That is why he will win, and why this good man triumphing will also represent the redemption of the soul of America.
