“My God.”
“At this moment the president is speaking as if dealing with the virus is coming toward an end and revitalizing the economy is the only job left.”
“He is telling America to commit suicide, and to die with an extra dollar in her pocket.”
“This cannot be allowed.”

This insanity will continue and worsen so long as we allow this administration and its Collaborators to remain in power.

Must be nice to get free money. I live in a world that depends on an actual economy. You know, people buying what I make freely. Not getting forced or taxed or guilted or apathied or connived into supporting me. This crisis shows that Trump is again the only one who is working for me, while the Democrats are for the illegal aliens who steal my work (and will be defying the lockdown by the way) and the wind farmers . Please remember that when you type your fingers bloody quoting Jesus and Bonhoffer and MLK this November.

This has to be the most insanely delusional comment I’ve seen since all this began.
Whomever it is that Mr. Trump is “working for”, it most certainly is not you.

What are you talking about? Nobody is working right now, other than health care workers, first responders, and essential services. Amazon is hiring at a record pace. So are the grocery stores. Most pay the new $15/hr baseline. Went by Cataldo this morning and they have job postings, no experience necessary. That probably pays better.
Some of dad’s friends who still work are handymen and claim they keep losing jobs to the undocumented, but they also never bothered to get their union cards. My uncle did and he’s doing just fine. Put the work in, do the certifications, and get the union card and you can do gangbusters in the Boston area. All the big projects are union jobs. Also, nobody is working right now. As for free money, even the Republicans favor that right now. It’s a question of how big and how targeted the check.

Must be nice living with your head so far up… well, where the sun don’t shine.
Either we slow, even stop, the economy for a time–and that time might be well longer than you or Trump might wish–or we condemn many millions to an otherwise avoidable death, and then see a slow down or stop of the economy anyways.
You and your family, no less than me an mine, are not immune to that second scenario.
