…but don’t get too excited. There are precious few races that appear to be contested in either the primary or the general. A big pet peeve of mine is when Dems leave seats unchallenged, but what the heck has Jim Lyons been doing with his time – obviously not recruiting candidates?! Anyway, here are the Democrats and Republicans who have their names on the ballot. There is also a Green-Rainbow candidate for State Rep. in the 12th Worcester and no Libertarian candidates.

In related, albeit anti-climatic, news, CBS is reporting that by their count Joe Biden has the requisite 1991 delegates as a result of Tuesday’s primaries thus officially clinching the Democratic presidential nomination.
