Congratulations on the purchase of your new Chevrolet Blazer. As you may know, General Motors has recently been acquired by an American Health Care conglomerate and so, some of the details regarding your warranty have been changed.
Your vehicle is covered by a five year, 60,000 warranty with the following changes:
Part A only covers a major component failure with a $1,000 deductible
Part B covers minor repairs to the vehicle, and is available for an additional $140 per month and a $500 deductible.
Part C is supplemental warranty coverage that will pay for all many items not covered by Part A or Part B such as fluids, rental cars, and 90% of any of the deductibles. Prices vary from $45 per month with a $4,000 deductible to $400 a month with a $50 deductible
Part D is a parts warranty price protection. Whereas Part A and B and C do cover parts, the parts pricing is listed in schedule F of your policy, or Schedule Y of your policy if you are leasing your vehicle. Parts price coverage in A-C is only paid up to this amount. To cover 90% of all additional parts costs, a monthly premium of $67 – $126.98 depending on plan selected is required.
Please note: Plans A-D are all administered by different companies, different phone numbers, and mail addresses. And yes, each requires a unique user name, password, and your call may be recorded for training purposes.
