On October 24 the UN’s Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons reached the necessary threshold of being ratified by 50 member states. This means that in 90 days the treaty will enter into force, banning nuclear weapons, 75 years after their first use.
As a member of the World Citizens League since 1970 this is the realization of a dream for those of us fighting for a nuclear free world.
