State Auditor Suzanne Bump has announced that she will not seek re-election next year. Governor’s Councilor Eileen Duff has already announced that she will pursue a campaign to succeed her. Sen. Diana DiZoglio and Transportation for MA Director Chris Dempsey are also reportedly considering. As Duff and DiZoglio are already incumbent elected officials their candidacies will create openings in their current seats.
